Пожалуйста подскажите проблема у меня с установкой Друпала:
выдает сообщение:
The directory sites/default/files is not writable. An automated attempt to create this directory failed, possibly due to a permissions problem. To proceed with the installation, either create the directory and modify its permissions manually, or ensure that the installer has the permissions to create it automatically. For more information, please see INSTALL.txt or the on-line handbook.
Я уже не знаю что и делать!!! Создал этоту папку files, а она пишет не перезаписывается! Что это значит? как решить эту проблему?

Что это значит и как решить эту проблему, пожалуйста!!!
Измените атрибуты у папки.
В папке files нужно выставить права на запись

А подскажите с каким РНР Друпал работает: РНР4 или РНР5. На хостинге установлен РНР4 и не все компоненты работают!
Читал где-то, что drupal начиная с 6.14 поддерживает php-5.3, при этом это касается только стандартных модулей, все другие модули под drupal, могут этому не следовать кстати.
А вообще вам сюда http://drupal.org/requirements там есть подраздел про php и требования к нему
Тут в общем то написано что рекомендуется 5.2.x или php выше 4.4.0 и повторюсь, это касается только чистого drupal, а не модулей к нему.
5.2 - самый безпроблемный вариант.
